«Greater Zurich Area Standortmarketing» Foundation has new member

Since January 1st 2008, the law firm of Walder Wyss & Partners has been a new member of the «Greater Zurich Area Standortmarketing» Foundation. The firm specializes in the banking sector, finance and insurance, real estate, construction and infrastructure, information technology, media, arts and entertainment as well as healthcare and life sciences.

The Greater Zurich Area AG is wholly owned by the «Greater Zurich Area Standortmarketing» Foundation, which finances the Greater Zurich Area AG. The Foundation was established in November 1998 as a public-private partnership, and has continuously grown since then with more members. The President of the Foundation Board is the Canton of Zürich’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Senior Executive Officer Rita Fuhrer.

Additional members of the «Greater Zurich Area Standortmarketing» Foundation are the Cantons of Aargau, Glarus, Graubünden, Schaffhausen, Schwyz, Solothurn and Zürich, and the cities Winterthur and Zürich. Corporate members, in addition to Walder Wyss & Partners, are ABB (Schweiz) AG, Credit Suisse Group, Graubündner Kantonalbank, Implenia AG, Karl Steiner AG, Niederer Kraft & Frey, Swiss Prime Site, SwissRe Group, Treuco Treuhand Gesellschaft, UBS and Zürcher Kantonalbank.
