RNAi has the potential to transform the treatment of patients with life-threatening diseases for whom few or no alternative therapies exist. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA), Alnylam established its European headquarters in the life sciences hub of Zug in the Greater Zurich Area in 2016.
