GZA webinar: The real cost of doing business in Switzerland

GZA webinar: The real cost of doing business in Switzerland

Switzerland is one of the most successful economies globally. It tops many international rankings in terms of innovation capacity, talent attraction, life satisfaction, political stability, productivity and competitiveness. Switzerland also features one of the most efficient financial systems in the world. These factors add to the attractiveness of the country for foreign multinationals, which have been numerous in choosing the nation in the middle of Europe as a location for research and development, manufacturing, marketing and sales, and supply chain operations.

However, Switzerland has a reputation for being an expensive country. Why then do multinationals such as Biogen or ABB choose Switzerland as a base for their operations? Why, after the merger between the French cement giant Lafarge and Swiss Holcim, was Switzerland chosen as the home of the new entity?

Join our webinar on September 18 at 12 pm EDT (9 am PDT / 6 pm CEST) to learn about the real cost of doing business in Switzerland from Pascal Buehler and Stephan Zwicky from the Swiss Tax Desk of PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, and Brandon Cohen, Co-Founder at Toolbox4HR Switzerland AG.

Here’s what you will learn:

  • The real cost of doing business in Switzerland including taxation, labor laws, social security and other cost factors
  • International comparison of the cost of doing business
