125 successful investment projects create 582 new jobs

Above pre-Corona level

After the pandemic-induced decline in establishments in the previous year, more companies were established in 2021 than before the crisis.

Technologies of the future

Most companies come from innovative technologies: Information and communication technologies (42), life sciences (25), machinery industry (incl. cleantech, 18) and financial services (13).

Settlements by source

The 42 successful settlements in 2021 represent almost a doubling (+91%). The two most important country markets in Europe - Germany (+4*) and Italy (+5) also increased significantly.
