Evolute secures fresh capital
Evolute has successfully secured fresh capital: According to a press release, a consortium of investors has pledged to invest up to 10 million Swiss francs over the coming three years in the Zurich-based FinTech start-up. According to information from finews.ch, the group of investors includes Urs Wietlisbach, co-founder of Zug-based Partners Group, and former Chairman of the Board of Directors at UBS, Marcel Ospel, among others. Supervisory Board member Patrick Barnert was quoted as saying: “The new investment provides security for Evolute’s long-term development”.
Evolute has developed and operates an asset management platform. According to its own data, the company successfully gained several new clients for its platform last year. These included, for example, Finaport, VT Wealth Management and LimmatWealth. The start-up’s sales have risen by more than 600%, with earnings from the contracts increasing to 1.5 million Swiss francs. Evolute currently provides services for assets under management totalling 9 billion Swiss francs.
In 2019, Evolute intends to introduce several new functionalities to its platform. For example, a mobile consultancy solution and consolidated reporting for non-bankable assets – e.g. real estate – and crypto assets are in the pipeline.
