What Switzerland can Learn from How Technology & Entrepreneurship are Fuelling Growth in Japan
Dr. Sachio Semmoto is one of Japan's most prominent entrepreneurs. He has served on the Board of Directors for Softbank and the Sega Corporation. In 2005 he founded E-Access, an internet Service Provider which grew to cover 90% of Japan's population. In 2013 the company was sold to Softbank for a share-swap valued at $2.6bn. Dr. Semmoto is now pioneering a series of renewable-energy initiatives to tackle climate changes.
