The investment promotion agency Greater Zurich Area Ltd (GZA) and its public partners jointly established 117 foreign companies in the Greater Zurich Area in 2018. The companies located here plan to create around 1,300 new jobs over the next five years. At a press conference, the Swiss country head of the spatial computing pioneer Magic Leap explained why the technology company decided to establish an R&D competence center in Zurich.
