Acodis has secured a total of 2.5 million Swiss francs in fresh capital, further details of which can be found in a press release. A significant portion of this sum came from VI Partners, a venture capital firm located in the canton of Schwyz, which is joining Acodis as a new investor. In addition, existing investors again participated on this occasion.
Acodis is active in the field of intelligent document processing (IDP). Leveraging the benefits of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the start-up is able to convert documents into structured data within a matter of seconds. Acodis plans to use the fresh capital to further develop and fine-tune its product.
“Thanks to our new investor who brings in a strong business network and deep expertise in tech, we can now accelerate our growth towards our mission to turn documents into value”, explains Martin Keller, CEO and co-founder of Acodis, in the press release.
According to Joe Neale, Tech Partner at VI Partners, Acodis is assuming a pioneering role in the area of intelligent document processing with its development. “We strongly believe that Acodis’ exceptional and passionate team promise a bright future for customers looking to automate ineffective processes”, he adds.
