Zurich – AlgoTrader has secured a seven-figure investment from the Finlab EOS VC Fund. With this, the fintech from the Greater Zurich Area has now raised 5.2 million Swiss francs through its Series A financing round.

The Finlab EOS VC Fund, a European venture capitalist specializing in fintech and blockchain companies, has invested a seven-figure amount in AlgoTrader. In total, AlgoTrader has now therefore raised 5.2 million francs through its Series A round, as was reported in a press release. The round was led by Credit Suisse Entrepreneur Capital. Other investors included investiere.chBlockchain Valley Ventures and NeueCapital.

AlgoTrader has developed an algorithmic trading software product for hedge funds and trading companies. This automates complex quantitative trading strategies on any market using forex, stocks, derivatives and cryptocurrencies. The company recently also launched the WIRESWARM platform, which offers institutional investors access to digital assets.

The new capital is coupled with the comprehensive expertise and broad network of the investor base, putting the company in a great position for further growth.
