Aon relying on dacadoo’s technology

Aon is bringing an app to market that aims to motivate people to lead a healthy lifestyle. The app will be offered to German companies, which can then provide it to their employees. Users can use the app to collect data on physical activities, improve their understanding of their health and set themselves individual goals, for example.

According to a press release, in developing the app the globally active consultancy company collaborated with the Zurich-based startup dacadoo, which developed the underlying digital health platform.

Nicoletta Blaschke, Director of Health Solutions at Aon Germany, explains in the press release: “The benefits of the app for the employee go beyond a mere health assessment; rather, it enables the generation of a sustainable and healthy change in behavior on the basis of data-driven insights.”

Dacadoo offers its technology in several languages and works with numerous international insurers. The startup’s health platform can be further developed into an individualized app for the respective company. Dacadoo is headquartered in Zurich but has other locations in Europe, North America, and in the Asia-Pacific region.
