Innovation has always been at the heart of Avaloq’s business strategy, explained the fintech company from the Greater Zurich Area in a statement.
Founded in 1985, Avaloq is a technology-oriented financial services provider for asset management, universal and retail banking. Every year, it re-invests around 50 per cent of its revenue from software in the development of new products.
Avaloq has now won the Grand Prix Banque & Innovation 2017 for the quality of its products and its focus on innovation. The prize was awarded to the fintech company last week at the 2017 Banque & Innovation fair in Paris.
Around 350 researchers work in the company’s laboratory developing new products. “I’d like to dedicate this award to the innovative engineers,” commented Thomas Beck, Group Chief Technology Officer Avaloq, in the statement. “They have been innovating since the birth of our flagship product, the Avaloq Banking Suite.”
