The startup company Dacadoo has developed a playful and engaging healthcare platform to encourage users to live healthily. Hannover Re is the fourth biggest reinsurer in the world. Now, the two companies are joining forces to offer joint solutions for insurers in Europe and Asia, announced a statement.
During the first phase, Hannover Re’s underwriting solution, hr|ReFlex, will be combined with dacadoo’s healthcare app to offer life and health insurers a digital end-to-end solution. At a later stage, the partners aim to develop a fully integrated technical solution. They are also developing product concepts “based on individual lifestyle and health engagement”.
“With dacadoo we have found the ideal partner to enhance our value proposition for life and health insurers,” commented Jens Blohm, COO for life and health reinsurance at Hannover Re.
Peter Ohnemus, dacadoo founder and CEO, added: “The strategic collaboration with Hannover Re provides dacadoo with even greater access to the insurance market.”
