Founded in 2017, Cutiss focuses on areas such as regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and skin pigmentation. The company’s lead product is denovoSkin. To create the personalized human skin graft, a small, post-stamp-sized piece of healthy skin is used as the basis for bioengineering large pieces of skin that can then be transplanted. The skin graft grows with the patient, which is particularly important in children. Moreover, Cutiss has developed the world’s first machine with the ability to automate the entire production process of the personalized skin graft.

Cutiss was founded as a spin-off from the University of Zurich and is headquartered at the Bio-Technopark Schlieren-Zurich. ce/gba
