The Swiss Venture Club (SVC) corporate network honors small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for innovative products and services with the Prix SVC Central Switzerland. Company culture, quality of employees and management as well as sustainability and regional attachment are likewise relevant criteria for the award. A total of 120 companies submitted applications for the Prix SVC Central Switzerland in 2020, as detailed by SVC in a press release.
From these applicants, two firms based in the Greater Zurich Area made it into the elite group of the six best companies. Elbatech AG from Ibach in the canton of Schwyz took second place behind the Lucerne-based Renggli AG. The railway technology company specializes in the assembly of tunnel radio systems, the creation of railway earthing systems, the production and assembly of special constructions and the realization of diamond drilling operations for tunnel structures, catenary support masts, signals and other tunnel equipment.
In addition, allvisual AG from Steinhausen in the canton of Zug also made it into the elite group of prize winners. The IT firm employs 27 staff members across three locations in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The company focuses digital transformation, 3D visualization and smart manufacturing solutions. The development of consistent data models for companies is also part of allvisual’s product portfolio.
