According to an article by the Zurich-based start-up on LinkedIn, Perspective Robotics will receive subsidies worth EUR 2.5 million as part of the EU's SME Horizon 2020 Program.

With Fotokite, Perspective Robotics has developed a wire-guided drone that can take aerial photo and video shots. These can be streamed in real-time. The company wants to use the drones for applications in the area of public safety and to support firefighters in operational situations.

Perspective Robotics was founded in 2014 as a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. At the beginning of the year the large Swiss bank Credit Suisseinvested a seven-digit sum in the start-up. Last year Perspective Robotics has also found support in the USA and was awarded the GENIUS NY funding program’s 1 million dollar grand-prize investment.
