GetYourGuide’s platform offers more than 31,000 excursions and activities in 7,300 travel destinations. Around a month ago, the startup secured 75 million dollars in a financing round.
The platform has now announced a new partnership: GetYourGuide is joining forces with Miles & More, a Lufthansa subsidiary. Customers will be able to earn award miles when booking an activity via GetYourGuide.
“This new partnership is the perfect addition to our travel portfolio. When people travel, they want to have experiences and create memories that they can look back on,” explained Nicolas Brackmann, Director Key Account Management at Miles & More.
Tao Tao, founder and Chief Operating Officer of GetYourGuide, added: "We’re pleased to collaborate with Miles & More: customers can now improve their in-destination experience and their mileage account simultaneously.”
He added that Miles and More's reach and brand recognition was "unparalleled", concluding that the partnership was a "win-win".
