International Wealth Protection, which is headquartered in Miami, currently offers insurance solutions for wealthy customers in Latin America. It is now opening an office in Zurich, announced a statement.
In Zurich, the company will serve Latin American clients with a connection to Switzerland and European clients.
“While most high net worth clients around the world are facing unforeseen taxation issues, European clients are subject to a heavy inheritance tax burden and are not aware of simple and straightforward solutions that can mitigate the issue,” explained Malcolm Dermit, who will head the Zurich office.
International Wealth Protection intends to offer such clients alternatives via insurance that can minimize the impact of taxation on their estate.
“Establishing a footprint in Zurich is a result of the high demand from Swiss based referral resources that seek out our unique concierge style offering, jumbo case placement and ample product platform,” added Mary Oliva, founder of International Wealth Protection.
