Japanese insurer partners with dacadoo

The Japanese insurance company Sompo Himawari Life Insurance Inc. will be supporting the health of its customers through technology from the Zurich health tech dacadoo. The Tokyo company has just announced a business partnership to this effect.

Sompo Himawari Life will be connecting health activities in its platform “and be able to implement the collected data with health risk prediction and illness prevention in order to promote health awareness,” dacadoo writes in a press release.

Sompo Himawari Life will be drawing on dacadoo’s data from all over the world. This forms the basis for dacadoo’s digital services and will now be incorporated in the Linkx score health app of their new partner. The more users engage with the app, the more they can receive relevant advice and feedback about health activities and lifestyle, as the press release explains.
