Lugano – Blockchain specialist Jelurida from the Greater Zurich Area is joining forces with consumer and industrial business company Henkel from Germany. Jelurida’s experts will help Henkel implement new blockchain solutions.

Jelurida is a provider of blockchain software and learning services with headquarters in Lugano. The company will now be supporting Henkel, a German manufacturer engaged in consumer and industrial business with sales of more than €20 billion. Drawing on Jelurida’s expertise is part of Henkel’s 2020+ strategy to accelerate digitalization across the company. The partners kicked off the engagement with a joint workshop at Henkel’s Düsseldorf headquarters at the end of March.

Among the solutions developed by Jelurida is the Ardor Blockchain Platform, which is not only a money transfer system, but also supports the trading of digital goods, the creation of custom currencies and decentralized crowdfunding. According to the press release, an Ardor-based solution for incentivizing diabetes prevention recently won the grand prize at the Good Dollar Hackathon in Tel Aviv.
