Lindau ZH – Property company Mettler2Invest is establishing a work and meeting place on the former site of Maggi in Kemptthal. The Valley will be officially initiated in mid-June, when the around 40 companies already on the site will be opening their doors.

Just a few minutes from Zurich Airport, The Valley marks the creation of one of the most interesting company locations in the Greater Zurich Area. With its impressive brick architecture, the historic Maggi site in Kemptthal will develop into “a microcosm for work and entertainment between Zurich and Winterthur”, Mettler2invest explained in a press release. So far, around 40 companies have settled in The Valley, conceived under the direction of its new owners. The range of business activities includes fields as varied as research and development, services, trade, food production, catering and entertainment. According to the press release, The Valley is home to “notable companies such as AXAGivaudan and Migros”. The new Motorworld Manufaktur Region Zürich is highlighted as a particular gem.

Motorworld Manufaktur is undoubtedly one of the companies that can expect to prove popular with the several thousand visitors over the opening days on 15 and 16 June. It will be presenting several classic cars at the event.

The Geneva-based global corporation Givaudan will offer visitors an insight into its new innovation center for flavor and fragrance. Gourmets will find much to delight them at the street food festival. To round off the program, an old converted freight car will serve as the stage for various concerts.
