The Circle will be home to a new 400sqm Racing Lounge. Racing Unleashed, the startup established in 2018 by Francisco Fernandez, founder of the banking software company Avaloq, has announced that a “real high-end racing simulator cockpits with F1 handlebars” will be installed in the new airport lounge in the coming winter season. Here, those who wish will be able to “drive on virtual traditional racetracks”.
Monisha Kaltenborn has been at the helm of Racing Unleashed since mid-2019. The former co-owner, CEO and team principal of the Sauber Formula 1 team is driving the growth of Racing Unleashed. The startup operates several such Racing Lounges in Switzerland and in other locations internationally.
Kaltenborn is delighted about this partnership with The Circle, highlighting the shared vision of the new partners. They are “united in our goal of making The Circle technology hub one of the most important eSports hubs in Switzerland”.
