Wallisellen - Reishauer will be inaugurating the first stage of its construction project in the Greater Zurich Area on 3 June. By the end of 2026, new production and assembly halls and a new administrative building will have completely replaced the existing facilities at the Wallisellen site. The headquarters of the machine tool builder will also be fitted with state-of-the-art equipment.

Reishauer is fully rebuilding its headquarters in Wallisellen. New production and logistics halls as well as a new administrative building will be built here by the end of 2026. On 12 November 2020, Reishauer held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new headquarters in Wallisellen. The handover of the first phase will be completed on schedule at the start of June, as the international specialist for gear grinding machines for the automotive industry reported.

Reishauer reveals that the inauguration of the new production and logistics halls completed in the first stage, complete with underground parking, will be celebrated on 3 June. The new production site is “fully air conditioned” to meet the high quality standards for electric and alternative drivetrains. It also takes into account the latest occupational psychology, ergonomic and energy aspects. This investment in a new facility, optimized for sustainable working, as well as state-of-the-art equipment and measuring tools will improve production capacity and flexibility in production at the Swiss site.

Reishauer placed great emphasis on sustainability in its construction project. The company explains that the new building will be heated by means of waste heat and also include a photovoltaic system.

Reishauer has shaped industrial history since its foundation in 1788. In 1945, it developed the first continuous generating gear grinding machine in the world.
