Shanghai – The three start-ups Fixposition, holo|one and STOR-H Technologies have received awards at the Consumer Technology & Innovation Show in China. They impressed with innovations in the areas of navigation, augmented reality and hydrogen technology.

The Consumer Technology & Innovation Show (CTIS) is taking place in Shanghai from June 9th to 11th. Five Swiss start-ups are physically present on-site as well. The swisstech pavilion is available for them to use.

Three of the Swiss start-ups have now received awards at the trade fair according to a press release by Swissnex China. The CTIS Best of Innovation Award went to Fixposition AG based in Schlieren in the canton of Zurich. The start-up develops positioning solutions that can be implemented in the navigation systems of autonomous vehicles, for example. Fixposition is a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH).

In addition, holo|one AG from Lenzburg in the Swiss canton of Aargau won the CTIS Best of AR Award. The company has developed a standardized platform that enables companies to integrate the most popular applications of augmented reality. Holo|one AG is a spin-off from the University of Zurich.

Furthermore, STOR-H Technologies from Geneva won the Best of Green Technology Award. The company offers various solutions for hydrogen-powered vehicles. It is a spin-off from the Geneva-based company AAQIUS.

The swisstech campaign at the trade fair is being organized within the context of a public-private partnership. The partners include Presence Switzerland, Innosuisse, swissnex, digitalswitzerland and Switzerland Global Enterprise. The Greater Zurich Area is also supporting the Swiss presence.
