Wyth, a company located in Lugano in the Swiss canton of Ticino, has won the Grand Prix Möbius Suisse. The jury from the Fondazione Möbius Lugano selected Wyth’s cloud-based platform out of three finalists. The foundation hosted the 25th edition of the two-day Premio Möbius in Lugano entitled “Digital Transformation of Cultures”.
Wyth’s platform can be used by event organizers to design and conduct hybrid and digital festivals, training programs, congresses or product presentations. These also enable networking activities between participants. According to a press release, the jury praised the fact that Wyth “enables high-quality physical and digital connection and creates added value both for the event and for the participants”.
According to an article on startupticker.ch, people with similar interests are able to contact each other, exchange information, and actively take part in the same event thanks to two proprietary algorithms. Wyth can automatically reach millions of users and host an unlimited number of streaming rooms in HD/4K transmission quality. The platform is said to meet the highest safety standards and guarantees the organizer complete ownership of data.
The two other finalists were Stagend, an online, real-time booking portal for people planning events who are looking for artists, and Swicket, an online and offline ticket solution for events. Both are also headquartered in Lugano.
