Zurich – The German IT company it-novum is opening an office in Zurich, where it will support Swiss companies with their digital transformation.

Thanks to the many large, medium and small-sized companies active in Switzerland, it is a “very innovative, growing country”, according to an it-novum statement.

With its new Zurich office, it-novum plans to help businesses that have settled in Switzerland, including industrial and pharmaceutical companies and service providers, with the important task of being able to react to the market quickly and innovatively.

The German company’s Swiss subsidiary will be headed by Stephan Köpfli, who began his career 27 years ago as a programmer at a big Swiss bank and has since moved into the field of sales.

“My job at it-novum is to build the Swiss market and make a mark in Switzerland,” he commented in the statement. He sees particularly great potential in the fields of big data analytics, integrated IT service management processes and digital solutions for corporate information and processes.

it-novum describes itself as a leading IT consulting company for Business Open Source. It is headquartered in the German city of Fulda and opened a subsidiary in Vienna in 2008.
