The wefox service platform and the fully digital insurer ONE are part of the wefox insurance technology group. Founded in Zurich in 2014, the Swiss-German insurance service management platform has already completed several funding rounds to secure investment. In a press release, the wefox Group reveals that a total of €55 million had flowed into the startup so far.
In its latest round of funding, the insurtech company was able to attract a famous investor in Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher. “Ashton Kutcher is extremely tech savvy and has already invested in various different technology startups,” comments Julian Teicke, co-founder and CEO of the wefox Group, in the press release. The startup will principally be using the capital raised to continue the development and preparation of ONE.
