The technology company Ascom has secured a contract in Italy. It is to supply its Ascom Healthcare Platform and Digistat software to the Campus Bio Medico University Hospital in Rome. The hospital is installing the solutions in its intensive care wards, operating theaters and laboratories, with the aim of optimizing clinical procedures.
According to Ascom, the contract is worth more than half-a-million Swiss francs. Sales Director Francis Schmeer said it recognized Ascom as a solutions provider with a “sound scientific basis on which to improve clinical procedures to the latest standards in technology”.
The Campus Bio Medico University Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), which stands for very high levels of efficiency and safety in patient care. Ascom is headquartered in Baar and has operations in 18 countries. It provides IT solutions in healthcare.
