The d10e Conference is the biggest pitch competition in the world, according to a statement from BLOCKv. Startups from the fields of fintech, blockchain or the sharing economy, as well as token generation events (TGEs) are invited to pitch in front of a jury. The best startups win bitcoins.
The highly competitive contest received over 100 applicants, and BLOCKv was among the 26 invited to pitch in front of the panel at the d10e Conference. The startup received the highest grade from the jury, and it received it one-third of an investment prize pool of 100 bitcoins provided by the judges in return for tokens in the top three winners’ pre-token sales.
BLOCKv’s TGE, which is slated for 12 October, was described by the jury as “one of the most exciting upcoming TGEs”.
BLOCKv is the maker of a blockchain-based development platform that enables the creation of decentralized, smart, secure, and dynamic virtual objects, such as ticketing, gifting, coupons or promotions. Digital objects distributed on the platform are fraud proof, according to BLOCKv.
