The major bank UBS and the insurance company Zurich have launched a joint offer for startups. It includes banking and insurance products, as well as co-working opportunities and mentoring programs.

UBS and Zurich have launched an offer for startup companies. It includes a banking package with a free capital payment and business account, as well as insurance policies that are either mandatory for companies or cover important risks that many startups cannot take on themselves, according to a statement. The package also includes mentoring programs and co-working opportunities.

The new package uses the UBS Start Business platform, which was launched in summer 2019 and offers startup companies information and offers from UBS and its partners.

“With the combined offer from Zurich and UBS, we’re pleased to support young entrepreneurs during the crucial stages of start-ups. For the first time, start-ups now have a one-stop shop for quick, easy and coordinated access to key banking and insurance products,” commented UBS Switzerland President Axel Lehmann.
