Next January the World Economic Forum (WEF) will launch a digital twin summit to the annual event in Davos. According to a press release, only the “key global government and business leaders” will travel to Davos. Other participants will exchange information via a digital network.

The subject of the next summit will be “The Great Reset.” This involves laying the foundations for a more fair, sustainable, and resilient future. The focus is on health, climate change, and equal opportunities. WEF Founder Klaus Schwab explains: “We need a change of mindset, moving from short-term to long-term thinking, moving from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder responsibility. Environmental, social and good governance have to be a measured part of corporate and governmental accountability.”

According to the information provided, the digital twin summit is to be driven by younger generations – the Global Shapers Community. They will come together in 400 cities around the world to exchange information via a digital hub network. This structure aims to also enable all interested members of the public to be involved in the dialogue.

The forum will stage the virtual dialogue series “The Great Reset Dialogues” at the forefront of the annual summit. These dialogues are a joint initiative between the World Economic Forum and HRH Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales.
