Schaffhausen-based cyber protection specialist Acronis announced that it has acquired CyberLynx. The acquisition, which marks Acronis’ third in the past year, will advance Acronis’ mission “to deliver world-class cyber protection to organizations around the world”, according to an Acronis press release.
Israel-based CyberLynx, which was founded in 2017 and has offices in Luxembourg, Switzerland and the UK, is a premier provider of security audits, penetration testing and propriertary training solutions with a global customer presence.
“Adding CyberLynx to our portfolio helps Acronis provide security evaluations services to our partners, empowering them to improve their clients’ protection,” said Serguei Beloussov, Acronis’ founder and CEO. “Working with our security team and global network of Cyber Protection Operation Centers, we will assist MSPs as they transition to MSSPs.”
According to Noam Herold, founder and CEO of CyberLynx, Acronis has been “redefining how organizations should be thinking about data protection and cybersecurity against today’s cyberthreat landscape”. He added that his team is looking forward to collaborating with its new peers to strengthen “the security of organizations around the world”.
