Zurich – The start-up dacadoo has developed a digital health platform that aims to motivate people to lead more healthy lifestyles. Generali Hellas has recently also starting using this platform. The Greek insurance firm offers access to the product in the form of its own app.

The start-up dacadoo has developed a digital health platform that it operates with the aim of motivating users to lead more healthy lifestyles in a fun way. The start-up has now also impressed Generali Hellas, with the Greek insurance firm having launched a new app based on the dacadoo platform by the name of My Health IQ for its clients.

“The use of digital technologies and telematics in the insurance sector is an innovative and necessary step”, comments Panos Dimitriou, CEO of Generali Hellas, in a press release issued by the company. The aim of the newly launched app is, according to Dimitriou, to increasingly shift the focus of insurance towards prevention and encouraging healthier habits.

The technology developed by dacadoo is already available in 16 different languages, while the company also works together with numerous internationally operating insurance firms. With its headquarters located in Zurich, dacadoo also operates locations across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. In total, dacadoo employs 115 members of staff.
