SIX and HIAG Data intend to jointly offer new services to facilitate and accelerate cloud migration in the financial service industry. This solution will fulfil the latest standards and regulations as well as offering particularly strong security, it was reported in a press release. The target group includes banks and companies engaged in insurance, health insurance and the handling of sensitive or regulated data. The goal is to accelerate the transition to cloud solutions in the finance industry and build a cloud-based ecosystem for the sector, which will help enable the development of innovative solutions.
SIX operates and develops infrastructure services in the Securities & Exchanges, Payments and Financial Information business units. The Group’s aim is to raise efficiency, quality and innovative capacity across the entire value chain of the Swiss financial centre. HIAG Data is part of property company HIAG and specialises in the development of IT infrastructures.
