Moodtalk anticipates four-fold sales increase in 2022

After a successful first six months, Moodtalk is registering a four-fold increase in sales. According to a press release, 80 teams across ten companies in German-speaking Switzerland are already using the startup’s software for efficient management and team development in medium-to-large SMEs just one year after market launch. The software is now ready for expansion to all language regions of Switzerland. Plans for growth financing are running in parallel with this.

Moodtalk structures and improves teamwork. First, rules for collaboration and targets are formulated in an onboarding workshop. These are recorded digitally and define the framework for team development. Moodtalk’s automated software based on artificial intelligence (AI) provides the responsible moderators and individual members with questions on the status of the collaboration at regular intervals. Based on these questions, Moodtalk suggests topics for the next exchange of information, training, or coaching.

The startup founded in June 2021 tested its software with teams from CSS Insurance and Axpo until the start of 2022. Co-Founder Loris Niederberger commented: “Recently we have started a wider roll-out at CSS and also signed a major agreement with Axpo.” Furthermore, insurance company Sanitas is placing its trust in Moodtalk to reorganize 20 teams. According to the information provided, the first clients from the education and health sectors were added this summer. An initial pilot project is running with shift work teams at the mental health service Psychiatrische Dienste Aargau.
