Lachen - Octapharma is a Gold Supporter of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis Congress for 2022. The manufacturer of human proteins from the Greater Zurich Area will be presenting the latest developments in its hematology and critical care portfolios at the event.

Octapharma will be presenting the latest developments in its hematology and critical care portfolios at the 30th International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) Congress, further details of which can be found in a press release issued by the manufacturer of human proteins from Lachen in the canton of Schwyz. The congress is set to take place in London between July 9 and 13, with Octapharma, a Gold Supporter of the event, to hold 11 presentations in total.

“We are excited to share our new data and updates at ISTH”, comments Olaf Walter, Board Member at Octapharma, in the press release. According to Walter, treating emergency bleeding and bleeding disorders remains challenging despite the fact that progress has been made. “We are constantly striving to address these challenges head-on and to lessen these patients’ burdens to improve their day-to-day lives”, he adds.

At the same time, two talks are planned for supported symposia, Octapharma explains further in the press release. The events, which form part of Octapharma’s “Under the Spotlight” series will focus on all-round protection against bleeding in hemophilia A. The second talk will focus on patient experiences and new treatment strategies for bleeding disorders, with an emphasis here on women that suffer from ailments of this kind. “We look forward to continuing our efforts in raising awareness around and improving the care for women with bleeding disorders, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that these patients have the ability to receive safe and effective management for their symptoms”, explains Larisa Belyanskaya, Head of IBU Hematology at Octapharma, in the press release.
