Opfikon - The virtual advertising and computer vision specialist uniqFEED AG from the Greater Zurich Area has successfully concluded a Series C funding round. The multi-million investment was raised entirely from Patinex AG.

Following a successful multi-million Series C funding round, uniqFEED AG based in Opfikon in the canton of Zurich can now enter the next phase of its journey towards scale deployment, as was reported in a press release. The round was fully subscribed by a single investor, namely Patinex AG from Freienbach in the canton of Schwyz. “We are delighted to have the backing and trust of Patinex AG as our business continues to grow,“ said Roger Hall, CEO of uniqFEED. The fact that the entire round was raised from a single investor “is a clear attestation to the value of uniqFEED’s technology”.

Founded in 2015, uniqFEED is a sports tech company that provides virtual advertising solutions for sports rights holders. The proprietary AdApt software developed by uniqFEED using the power of computer vision technology allows virtual content to be inserted into a live sports broadcast feed. These solutions from uniqFEED are being used in a multitude of different sports, including baseball and football. Expensive or intrusive hardware is consequently no longer needed.

The funding will help uniqFEED further drive product enhancement and innovation. As a result, it can offer more value-adding features and capabilities in its solutions for partners.
