Zurich/Vaduz - The University of Zurich and University of Liechtenstein are to implement their agreement on a cooperation in the field of law from the forthcoming winter semester. The exchange of modules is an important step on the way to the planned joint Master’s program.

From the forthcoming winter semester 2022/2023, the University of Liechtenstein and University of Zurich (UZH) will implement their arranged module exchange in the field of law. A corresponding Letter of Intent was originally agreed between the two universities back in March 2020.

“After years of successfully establishing the field of law in continuing education, we can take another important step in consecutive teaching in the field of law with the mobility program that has now been sealed, following the successful introduction of the doctoral program Law of Financial Services”, comments Assistant Professor Alexandra Butterstein in a press release issued by the University of Liechtenstein. She is additionally Head of the Institute of Business Law and designated Dean of the future School of Business Law.

As the press release explains further, this strengthened cooperation between the two universities represents another key milestone in connection with the roadmap for a planned joint Master's program. “As President of the University Council, it is a particular pleasure for me that the field of law is steadily developing - especially in view of the start of the School of Business Law in January 2023”, comments Klaus Tschütscher in the press release. “With this intensified partnership between Zurich and Vaduz, our students are offered new opportunities”, he concludes.
