Langendorf/Bethesda - The North American firm Brivo is integrating the cloud-based alarm management solution developed by Sitasys AG in its platform for automated building monitoring. The aim here is to centralize access management, alarms and video surveillance on a single platform.

Brivo, Inc., based in the US State of Maryland, has entered into a partnership with Sitasys AG from Langendorf in the canton of Solothurn. The North American inventor of cloud-based access control solutions and smart spaces technology is integrating the evalink talos, another cloud-based alarm management system developed by Sitasys, in its platform. This Brivo-Sitasys integration is available on the evalink marketplace.

“For customers who put a premium on central monitoring, we’re excited to partner with Sitasys AG’s evalink technology”, comments Steve Van Till, founder and CEO of Brivo, in a press release. This will allow safety professionals to manage access, alarms and video surveillance more easily as well as saving time “without sacrificing performance”, he explains further.

According to the press release, the Brivo integration brings together alarm panels, tracking systems, cameras and access control into a unified security platform by the name of Brivo Access. This leverages both analytics and business intelligence in addition to machine learning processes with the aim of generating “actionable insights from big data”.

“We believe that Brivo’s integration with our evalink technology strengthens our overall offering and adds value for our mutual customers”, says Peter Monte, CEO and founder of Sitasys AG, in the press release. He adds that the integration of cloud systems “makes it easier for users to navigate various tools within one platform and work more efficiently”.
