Dacadoo named Innovator of the Year

MongoDB has awarded its innovation prizes for this year. Two of these went to dacadoo. The Zurich-based HealthTech firm was named Innovator of the Year and also won in the Data for Good category. This category puts the spotlight on developers who tackle socially important issues. With this annual award ceremony, MongoDB, a globally active database platform, honors trailblazing applications of data and the creativity of specialists seeking to push the limits of technology.

“The company’s digital health platform represents an important innovation in the healthcare sector”, comments Dev Ittycheria CEO of MongoDB, in a press release. “It helps people to make informed decisions regarding risk factors that contribute to chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes and cardiac conditions. The health platform developed by dacadoo is based on more than 300 million human years of clinical data. Among the customers of dacadoo are, for example, life and critical illness insurers, occupational health management providers as well as medium and large enterprises.
