Olten - The University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) will be introducing its Business Artificial Intelligence course in the 2023 academic year. It aims to prepare students for the needs of the modern economy.

The FHNW will be providing a bachelor’s degree in Business Artificial Intelligence from the 2023 academic year. The new course plans to prepare students for the requirements of the modern economy, where artificial intelligence (AI) plays an ever more important role in economic success, according to a press release from the FHNW. The course will be run by the FHNW’s School of Business based in Olten in the canton of Solothurn.

During the degree in Business Artificial Intelligence, students will learn to develop and implement specific, smart solutions for real tasks. Head of the program Knut Hinkelmann explains in the press release: “Seamless interaction between humans and artificial intelligence will be essential for corporate success in future. This is why we do not limit ourselves to just one aspect of AI in the course. Instead, we impart comprehensive knowledge and capabilities to the students on where and how AI can increase process efficiency and efficacy, thus creating a competitive advantage.”

The FHNW reports that there are only limited places available for the first course starting in September 2023. Interested parties are therefore encouraged to register early. The FHNW has detailed information on the course online.
