Zug - kasko2go AG has suddenly increased its potential customer base. A recently agreed partnership will now allow the suppliers of innovative insurance solutions to reach an additional 4.5 million car drivers in Ukraine.

The start-up kasko2go has set a target of reducing insurance premiums by up to 50 percent. With its product, the start-up is making its way onto the car insurance market. To this end, it has developed an app, which “conducts a risk assessment of a driver’s personal driving behavior and, with the help of artificial intelligence and mobile telematics technology, thereby calculates an individual insurance premium”, as outlined in a press release. The app has been available in Switzerland since April in conjunction with the insurance firm Dextra. The model devised by kasko2go should see occasional drivers and careful drivers rewarded with attractive insurance premiums.

kasko2go has now also agreed a similar partnership in Ukraine. The Ukrainian holding Okko Group combines numerous companies under its group structure, including the insurance firm Universalna. This cooperation between kasko2go and Okko will now allow 4.5 million drivers in Ukraine to benefit from the technology developed by the start-up from the Greater Zurich Area. Genadi Man, CEO of kasko2go, explains that the partnership offers his company the chance “to grow in an exciting market and to give car drivers access to a fair tariff structure”.

kasko2go AG was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Zug. The company employs approximately 70 staff.
