TE Connectivity among best workplaces for innovators

TE Connectivity (TE), a global supplier of connectivity technology and sensor solutions based in Schaffhausen, has once more been recognized for its innovative work. Each year, the magazine “FastCompany”, which focuses on issues such as technology, business and design, produces the Top 100 list of the best workplaces for innovators together with the corporate and strategic consultancy firm Accenture in Dublin. The 100 companies acknowledged for their efforts in this area have all built up a culture that puts employees at all levels in a position to create new products, improve processes and take risks. According to a press release, TE is now also included on this list. Only in February was TE named as one of the best employers in Germany in the category of technology by the Top Employer Institute (TEI), as covered by an articlein “pv magazine”.

“Our customers count on TE to innovate solutions to their toughest engineering challenges, whether it's advancing electric vehicle technology, enabling data to travel at faster speeds or saving lives with enhanced medical devices”, comments Terrence Curtin, CEO of TE. To be successful, the company must secure top talents and provide an environment for innovative work. “We are honored that our workplace culture has been recognized by Fast Company alongside many of the world's most innovative companies”, Curtin adds. In a short profile of TE Connectivity for its top 100 list, FastCompany noted that: “In 2019, the Swiss tech company filed more than 1,000 patents and earned approvals on about 1,300 more”.
