Zurich – Greater Zurich Area startup Nezasa has developed a software that allows travellers to plan and book trips online consisting of different modules. The company has now secured 2.5 million Swiss francs in a Series A financing round led by Credit Suisse.

Nezasa has developed a software that makes it possible to build personalized trips out of different components or itineraries. Its objective is to assist travel agencies digitalize their services and allow their trips to be booked online. This should help them attract more customers while at the same time reduce the costs to serve them. The software from the Zurich-based startup is already being used by several travel agencies, including FTI Touristik, Viamonda, Fineway and Berge & Meer.

According to a Nezasa press release, it has now successfully completed a Series A financing round of 2.5 million Swiss francs led by SVC AG, the risk capital arm of Credit Suisse. Existing shareholders also participated, including the British risk capital firm Howzat Partners and the two Swiss risk capital firms Alpana Ventures and Investiere.ch.
