The Vietnamese textiles company Hoa Tho Textile has turned to a development from Uster Technologies in the area of quality control. The platform by the name of Uster Quality Expert is able to bring together data on fibers, yarns and materials for centralized display, further details of which can be found in a press release. This should make it easier for employees to monitor the quality of the products being manufactured.
“It is very important for us to control the quality in yarn clearing in combination with the quality results from blow room, carding and roving”, comments Nguyen Huu Khanh, Manager of the Yarns Technology Department at Hoa Tho Textile, in the press release. He explains further that the Uster platform makes this possible by combining online monitoring with data from lab tests and built-in intelligence for error detection.
Uster Technologies is headquartered in Uster in the Greater Zurich Area and develops quality control solutions used in the production of yarns. The company also operates technology centers in the USA and China.
