Stäfa ZH/Wels - Infoniqa has completed a deal to acquire the online bookkeeping service Run my Accounts, which is based in the Greater Zurich Area. In so doing, Infoniqa has moved one step closer to achieving its goal of becoming the leading provider of accounting, payroll and personnel software and services in the German-speaking DACH region.

Based in the Austrian city of Wels, Infoniqa completed a takeover deal of Run my Accounts on December 1. As such, the supplier of software solutions in the area of Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll services is expanding its portfolio with the addition of an accounting platform with integrated outsourcing services for trustees, further details of which can be found in a press release.

Infoniqa highlights the fact that Switzerland offers “strong synergies” in the press release. “Together, we will make accounting as simple as online shopping”, comments Léon Vergnes, CEO of Infoniqa, in the press release, before adding: “This is a decisive benefit that is also explicitly of relevance for trustees and their clients on a cross-border basis”. Thomas Brändle, founder and CEO of Run my Accounts, will remain in his role. He explains that he values this opportunity to “implement our vision of fully digitalized accounting processes together with Infoniqa”.

As Infoniqa writes further in the press release, the acquisition of Sage Schweiz AG, which was originally announced back in April of this year, was completed on November 30. This makes Infoniqa “a formidable market player in the field of ERP solutions as well as HR and financial management software solutions in Switzerland”. Current CEO Thomas Hersche is to remain in his role and will continue to lead Sage Schweiz AG under its new name of Infoniqa Switzerland Software and Services AG.
