Zurich - Nimagna is developing an app that aims to improve presentations in video conferences. It uses artificial intelligence to turn the computer camera into a professional production team. The app will be launched on the market in the fall.

The Zurich-based startup Nimagna aims to improve presentations that are held within video conferences. It is working on an app that can create a three-dimensional virtual environment. To do so, the computer camera takes on the roles of a professional production team. It becomes a camera operator, director, and producer all at the same time. This is possible with the use of artificial intelligence. A patent has already been filed for the underlying technology.

The app is designed to be integrated into existing platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet. Users can then upload a PowerPoint presentation to the app and present this interactively within a video conference, for example.

Nimagna’s app is already being tested by the first interested parties. According to a press release, the startup also launched a beta version for Windows at the end of June, which is released for testing. The app will be further refined as a result of feedback from the first users. According to an article on startupticker.ch, the product launch is set for the fall.

The software is primarily intended for use by SMEs. According to startupticker.ch, Swiss startups will be able to use it for free.
