mybacs has successfully closed a round of seed financing, as outlined in an article on startupticker.ch. Among other companies, the venture capitalist firm Global Founders Capital, which has already invested in companies such as Facebook, Slack and Revolut, was involved in this round of financing.

mybacs develops symbiotic dietary supplements made of natural bacteria cultures and minerals. They are intended to help prepare tourists for various environmental factors and thereby avoid any bowel problems. In its research, mybacs focused on geographical differences between various regions. The company therefore offers special version of its pills that have been customized for certain regions of the world, for example for Asia and the region of Africa and the Middle East, as well as for Europe, North America and Latin America.

With this new funding, mybacs is planning to expand its product portfolio in addition to strengthening its sales and marketing departments.
