vision& believes blockchain technology will one day play a significant role beyond the realm of cryptocurrencies. To this end, it has launched an investment product to help investors invest in projects and startups in the blockchain field.
“Having to finance blockchain startups via ICOs has typically made it difficult or almost impossible for many traditional investors to access innovative blockchain projects,” explained Lidia Bolla, CEO of vision&, in a statement.
Consequently, investment in blockchain assets has demanded both “time-intensive research” to find promising projects and “tiresome investment processes”.
Bolla added: “In launching this investment product, we are giving investors a traditional means of investment that they recognise and that opens the door to the blockchain world, which can be difficult to access.”
The new investment product is available for different blockchain projects, with a focus on blockchain protocols, development tools and financial and non-financial applications. It was developed in partnership with a Swiss fund management company and can be booked with a traditional deposit at an investor’s bank.
