Skribble has raised 10 million Swiss francs in a series A financing round, announced a statement. The round was led by the venture capital companies VI Partners from the canton of Schwyz and Germany’s Acton Capital Partners.

The investors see huge potential in Skribble’s solution for legally appropriate digital signatures that also conform with data protection standards. According to the Zurich startup, the solution is already being used by more than 3,000 companies.

“In the Swiss domestic market, we have managed to establish ourselves as the leading e-signature provider in just three years. We are already present in more than 30 other countries,” commented Philipp Dick, co-founder and CEO of Skribble, in the statement. He continued that the new capital would be used to develop the company’s product and scale up its growth in Europe.

The latest round of funding is Skribble’s third. Stakeholders from previous rounds included Mobiliar AG, Helvetia Venture Fund and Zürcher Kantonalbank.
